Job summary

Astrix in New Albany, OH is seeking Manufacturing Production Technicians to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. You will assist with production, equipment operation, cleaning, material movement, inspection, and packaging while following SOPs and GMP.

This on-site contract-to-hire role offers a rotating 12-hour schedule (6:00 AM–6:30 PM), with pay of $18–$22 per hour. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 1 year of work or military experience, or an Associate degree.
• Manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, or production experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing processes according to SOPs and batch records.
• Set up, operate, clean, and prepare manufacturing equipment.
• Support production, filling, finishing, inspection, packaging, and/or solution preparation activities.
• Move materials and totes and ensure components are available for production.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or production issues.
• Perform basic measurements, calculations, and material reconciliations.
• Document production activities using electronic batch records and computer systems.
• Follow GMP, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
• Report quality, equipment, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain continuous production.
