Job summary

Astrix Inc. in New Albany, OH seeks a Production Technician to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. You will assist with production, equipment operation, cleaning, material movement, inspection, and packaging while following SOPs and GMP requirements.

This onsite contract-to-hire role features rotating 12-hour shifts (2,2,3), night shift 6:00 PM–6:30 AM. Candidates with a High School Diploma or equivalent and a year of related experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of work/military experience or an Associate degree.
• Manufacturing or pharmaceutical production experience is preferred.
• Experience with equipment operation, packaging, batching, material handling, or inspection is a plus.
• Ability to learn electronic manufacturing systems and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing processes according to SOPs and batch records.
• Set up, operate, clean, and prepare manufacturing equipment.
• Support production, filling, finishing, inspection, packaging, and/or solution preparation activities.
• Move materials and totes and ensure components are available for production.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or production issues.
• Perform basic measurements, calculations, and material reconciliations.
• Document production activities using electronic batch records and computer systems.
• Follow GMP, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
• Report quality, equipment, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain continuous production.
