Job summary
Amneal is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to own preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment in support of oral solid dosage forms and transdermal systems, including birth control patches. You will lead troubleshooting, drive continuous improvement, and ensure cGMP compliance across production lines.
You will develop maintenance programs, diagnose complex failures, coordinate with QA, EHS, and validation teams, and manage installation, IQ/OQ/PQ activities while maintaining
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy, or related field is required.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy, or related field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in engineering or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation failures.
- Lead maintenance and repair of tablet presses, coaters, mixers, dryers, packaging, and utilities.
- Maintain documentation of maintenance plans and equipment history per GMP standards.
- Support equipment installation, qualification, and validation with QA and validation teams.
- Assist CAPA activities related to equipment failures.
