Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to own maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment for oral solid dosage forms and transdermal patches. You will drive reliability, lead troubleshooting, and coordinate with quality and validation teams to ensure operational excellence under cGMP standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required in Engineering, Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy, or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
3+ years in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation failures.
Lead maintenance and repair of tablet presses, coaters, mixers, dryers, and packaging equipment.
Document maintenance activities and equipment history in GMP-compliant systems.
Support IQ/OQ/PQ activities with validation teams.
Assist CAPA and RCA processes related to equipment failures.
