Job summary

Salas O'Brien is seeking a Project Manager to lead capital projects within regulated manufacturing environments. The role spans scoping, design coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover, working closely with clients, engineering, operations, and quality teams.

The position emphasizes strong documentation control, change management, and adherence to cGMP requirements, with travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or equivalent preferred).
• 3–10 years of experience supporting or leading capital projects in regulated environments.
• PMP/CAPM/EIT/PE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects across the full lifecycle from scoping to turnover.
• Coordinate with clients, engineering, operations, quality, and validation teams.
• Maintain project documentation and turnover records in controlled systems.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, change control, and validated processes.
• Drive risks, issues, and decisions to keep projects on schedule and budget.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and validation activities.
