Job summary

BSI is seeking a Consulting Specialist to support the EHS department at a biopharmaceutical lab in the Boston area. This full-time role includes responsibilities such as overseeing chemical management, conducting lab safety training, and leading safety meetings and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in EHS or consulting required.
• Experience in lab safety and hazardous materials management preferred.
• Professional certifications like GSP desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory inspections and unsafe work conditions documentation.
• Identify and manage occupational hazards and risks.
• Provide oversight for chemical management and approvals.
• Conduct lab safety training for new employees.
• Assist with spill response and local reporting.
