Job summary

Orion Innovation is seeking a Systems Engineer, IT Shared Services, to act as the site SME for IT systems infrastructure. You will manage local servers, storage, and application services, ensuring a secure, reliable environment across Bothell and remote operations.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in pharma/biotech/healthcare IT infrastructure and familiarity with IT/OT convergence, GMP requirements, and process automation system protocols.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing enterprise IT infrastructure in regulated environments such as pharma/biotech/healthcare manufacturing.
• Professional certifications (Azure Admin, Server+, etc.) preferred; advanced certs (Azure Solutions Architect, VCP) a plus.
• Experience documenting architecture, configurations, and change controls for audit/compliance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day monitoring and administration of local servers, storage, and application services.
• Lead system onboarding, configuration, patching, upgrades, and integrations of plant-wide and corporate IT systems.
• Provide network support to staff and resolve related issues for site and remote operations.
• Develop system performance and incident reports for IT and business leadership.
• Deliver training on system best practices, security, and new functionalities.
