Job summary

Cis-International-LLC is seeking an on-site Operations/Design Engineer in Juncos, PR to drive process optimization and solve technical issues of moderate scope. You will apply engineering principles to modify systems, run experiments, and support capital projects within a cross-functional team.

The role requires an engineering degree with 2 years of experience; preferred is System Owner/MMP experience, cGMP exposure in pharma/biotech, and familiarity with Maximo.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2 years of engineering experience.
• System Owner experience (MMP) preferred.
• Experience with cGMP procedures in pharmaceutical/biotech production.
• Experience with Maximo.
• Capable of submitting Purchase Orders (PO).
• Experience working with and escorting vendors.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities.
• Work schedule flexibility to support 24/6 operations, with occasional after-hours coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques; assist with unusual problems.
• Perform assignments with clear objectives and limited variables.
• Initiate and complete routine technical tasks.
• Audit operational performance and regulatory compliance for multiple equipment items.
• Collaborate with research, manufacturing, maintenance, and QA on system modifications.
• Support design/construction projects; obtain quotes and generate cost estimates.
