Job summary

BD Pharmaceutical Company in El Paso, TX is seeking a General Assembler on a 12-month contract for 40 hours per week. The role requires entry-level experience, multiple shifts, and W2 contracting working on site in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Under supervision, you will assist in the preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients and devices, follow GMP, safety procedures, and quality guidelines, and participate in audits and training programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred or 4 or 12 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, trains to perform duties related to preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and/or medical devices in accordance with SOPs, and regulated by quality, environmental, and safety agencies.
• Possess a basic understanding of production processes and operating manufacturing equipment.
• Follow GMP, safety, and standard operating procedures; monitor processes and maintain proper housekeeping.
• Transport materials safely; participate in internal audits and site investigations; support overtime as needed.
