Job summary

Quva-Pharma in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Facilities Mechanic to maintain HVAC systems, site utilities and cleanrooms, and to manage the site Building Management System. The role requires adherence to regulatory standards and accurate documentation of all work.

You will work Monday–Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional after-hours support, and you will lead maintenance activities, interpret drawings, and coordinate with safety and quality teams to ensure continuous operation at the Sugar

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience working on HVAC and site utilities (electrical, water, sewer)
• Black Seal licensure by the state of New Jersey is required within 90 days of the date of hire
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Quva will not sponsor applicants for work visas

Responsibilities

• Performs and/or coordinates planned and demand maintenance activities on site HVAC system, utilities, and cleanrooms
• Operation and maintenance of pharmaceutical grade compressed air systems
• Maintains site equipment list as well as calibration and maintenance schedules
• Oversees site BMS system, pest control program, security, and fire system
• Ownership of site work order system
• Interpret equipment blueprints, schematic drawings, and machinery maintenance tasks
