Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to repair, install, and troubleshoot electrical and electro‑mechanical systems in a pharmaceutical/biomedical manufacturing environment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industry‑standard and specialized equipment and use a CMMS to track actions.

You will assess trouble calls, communicate status and completion times, and support new projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required with hands-on trade training.
• Experience installing, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems on automated equipment.
• Experience with machine automation, robotics, PLCs, drives, and sensing components.
• Ability to read electrical prints and ladder diagrams and troubleshoot low-voltage control instrumentation.
• Familiarity with RSLogix 5000, Ethernet, DeviceNet, and Siemens 7 is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory and national electrical codes; safety-focused.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and control systems in a pharma/biomedical setting.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on standard and specialized equipment.
• Use a CMMS to report and record equipment actions.
• Assess trouble calls and determine corrective actions.
• Communicate status and completion times for maintenance tasks.
• Perform scheduled and unplanned work on electro-mechanical controls.
• Support new engineering projects, applications, and implementations.
• Train junior-level technicians and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain equipment to OEM specifications and local/national codes.
• Work independently or in teams on short- and long-term projects.
