Job summary

i-Pharm GxP is seeking an experienced E&I Construction Engineer to support electrical and instrumentation execution on a high-profile pharmaceutical project. The role focuses on field coordination, technical guidance, and safe, compliant installation across regulated facilities.

Responsibilities include coordinating with multiple teams, reviewing drawings, supporting pre-commissioning, and ensuring turnover readiness, with a senior level requirement of 8+ years in pharma-grade E&I construction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation construction engineering for industrial or life sciences projects.
• Experience reading electrical drawings and loop diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support for electrical and instrumentation construction activities with field execution focus.
• Coordinate with E&I supervisors, foremen, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Support planning, sequencing, and installation of electrical systems and instrumentation systems.
• Verify safe, compliant installation practices per drawings and project requirements.
• Support system completion activities including loop checks and turnover readiness.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and commissioning teams for seamless handover.
• Review electrical drawings and specifications.
• Provide field guidance to resolve clashes and sequencing challenges.
• Monitor progress and identify issues affecting installation, quality, or schedule.
• Support pre-commissioning activities including energization readiness and testing.
• Ensure accurate reporting of field issues and system status.
• Support client walkdowns and technical reviews for final turnover.
