Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience on pharma or GMP-regulated capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70/NEC, IEC standards, ATEX, and instrumentation best practices.
• Electrical distribution experience: switchgear, transformers, MCCs, UPS, and emergency power.
• Instrumentation/control systems: field instruments, panels, wiring, loop verification.
• Experience supporting inspection, energization readiness, commissioning prep, turnover.
• Strong GMP construction practices knowledge and documentation requirements.
• Identify constructability issues, technical deviations, installation risks, and quality concerns.
• Cross-functional coordination with engineering, contractors, CQV, automation, and leadership.

Insight Global is seeking a Construction System Owner – Electrical & Instrumentation for a top pharmaceutical client supporting a major capital construction program in Lebanon, IN. This individual will serve as the field-based E&I technical authority, providing hands-on oversight of electrical distribution, controls, instrumentation, and associated installations. The candidate will ensure construction aligns with IFC design documents, specifications, validated submittals, and GMP requirements while coordinating across engineering, construction, automation, CQV, and other disciplines. This role will be highly focused on identifying and resolving field constraints, supporting system integration, and driving installations toward safe energization, commissioning, qualification, and turnover readiness.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of field experience supporting Electrical & Instrumentation installations on large pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated capital projects
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70/NEC, IEC standards, ATEX, and instrumentation best practices
• Electrical distribution experience including switchgear, transformers, MCCs, UPS, and emergency power systems
• Instrumentation/control systems experience including field instruments, control panels, signal wiring, and loop verification
• Experience supporting inspection, energization readiness, commissioning preparation, and turnover
• Strong understanding of GMP construction practices and documentation requirements
