Job summary

Solvex Solutions in Maryland/DC Metro Area is seeking an experienced Data Modeler to help develop a common enterprise data model and reusable data products for commercial pharma data.

The role demands strong SQL, Databricks, Delta Lake and medallion architecture knowledge, plus experience with pharma datasets (IQVIA, Symphony Health) and CRM data (Veeva); contract includes hybrid work and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and hands-on data modelling experience.
• Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake and medallion architecture.
• Commercial life sciences/pharma data knowledge is essential.
• Ability to map business requirements to entity relationships and data grain.
• Experience with patient/provider data linkage or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical and physical data models across multiple domains.
• Define modelling standards across Bronze, Silver and Gold Databricks layers.
• Establish harmonised Silver entities and Gold data products.
• Translate business requirements into data structures and relationships.
• Develop source-to-target mappings to support multiple data products.
• Collaborate with SMEs, architects and engineers on data governance and privacy.
• Support analytics use cases such as Patient Journey and HCP 360.
