Job summary

FST Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Construction Quality Manager to lead the quality program on a major pharmaceutical project in Lebanon, Indiana.

This on-site role oversees GC, subcontractors, vendors, and trades to ensure conformance with drawings, specs, and codes. The ideal candidate provides day-to-day leadership, drives prevention of rework, and coordinates with construction management, engineering, commissioning, validation, and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction quality, QA/QC, construction management, or related experience on large-scale industrial construction projects.
• Experience as a Quality Manager or similar leadership role.
• Experience overseeing quality activities by general contractors and multiple trades.
• Strong knowledge of inspections, ITPs, NCRs, corrective actions, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, P&IDs, and applicable codes.
• Experience coordinating quality activities across multiple technical disciplines.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day site construction quality program across active project areas.
• Provide oversight of GC, subcontractor, vendor, and trade quality programs and verify compliance with project requirements.
• Establish clear expectations for quality performance and hold contractors accountable.
• Coordinate quality activities across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, piping, HVAC, electrical, and instrumentation/control disciplines.
• Review contractor Quality Plans, ITPs, work packages, inspection procedures, and supporting docs.
• Monitor field activities to verify compliance with drawings, specs, codes, and project requirements.
• Lead or participate in quality meetings with project leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage NCRs, deficiencies, corrective actions, punch lists, and observations through closeout.
• Identify recurring quality issues and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Monitor inspection activities and ensure hold/witness points, testing, and documentation are completed.
• Review inspection records, material docs, turnover packages, and test reports for completeness.
• Ensure quality issues are addressed early to minimize rework and schedule impact.
• Coordinate with Construction Management, Engineering, Commissioning, Validation, and project controls.
• Provide regular reporting on quality performance, open issues, NCRs, and contractor performance.
• Support turnover by resolving deficiencies and ensuring documentation is complete.
• Promote a proactive quality culture and accountability on site.
