Job summary

Amneal is seeking an entry-level Compression Operator in the New York area. The role covers setup and operation of high-speed compression machinery in accordance with SOPs and cGMP standards. Shift is 1st, 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include in-process quality checks, room cleaning per IPQA, and precise documentation across compression operations. Requires OSHA respirator fit test, HS diploma, and 1+ year pharma manufacturing experience;

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test required.
• 1 year+ pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate compression machinery per SOPs.
• Conduct in-process checks (weight, thickness, hardness, friability, tablet weight).
• Initiate cleaning of compression rooms per IPQA procedures.
• Identify/segregate rejected blends/tablets; ensure quality checks.
• Maintain real-time documentation and review batch records.
