Merck & Co. is seeking a Compression Operator for their compression department in the Town of Brookhaven, NY. This entry-level role involves setting up and operating compression machinery while ensuring compliance with cGMP standards for high-quality pharmaceutical products.
Key responsibilities include conducting in-process checks, maintaining cleanliness, and real-time documentation during operations. Ideal candidates should have at least one year of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and have a high school diploma or GED.
This entry-level role in the Compression Department is responsible for the setup and operation of compression machinery in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Compression Operator ensures full compliance with cGMP standards to support the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products.
2nd Shift 3:30pm - 12:00am Monday to Friday
Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test is required.
The hourly base salary for this position ranges from $17.50 to $23.50 per hour. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes will be paid for this position at the time of posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
