Job summary

A dynamic engineering solutions provider in North Chicago is seeking a Calibration Technician to ensure accurate calibrations and maintenance of instruments used in pharmaceutical development. The ideal candidate has over 2 years of Metrology and Calibration experience. This is a contract position with a target pay rate of $35.00 to $38.00/hour, including full employee benefits like medical plans and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of Metrology and/or Calibration experience is needed.
• Knowledge of measurement practices and quality systems (e.g. ISO 17025).
• Experience calibrating and servicing pharmaceutical process and/or analytical instruments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs service, calibration, and maintenance on various equipment and instruments used in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
• Identify measurement errors and calculate uncertainties.
• Troubleshoot and repair any technical issues with instruments.
