Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Portage, MI seeks a full-time analytical chemist to perform API and finished product analysis, maintain equipment, and ensure GMP/GLP compliance.

You'll prepare standards and samples, operate HPLC, Karl Fischer, UV, and dissolution systems, review data, and train others in laboratory procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products.
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis; run instrumentation including HPLC, Karl Fischer, UV/Vis, and dissolution apparatus.
• Execute method transfer protocols and maintain monthly instrument maintenance.
• Review data for GMP/GLP compliance and generate reports.
• Train others in laboratory procedures and lead project/test areas.
• Communicate with vendors and repair personnel and write investigations.
