Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services is seeking an entry-level analyst to perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products in Lancaster, PA. You will run chromatography systems, prepare samples, and assist with method transfers under GMP guidance.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field or equivalent directly-related experience
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with self-motivation and adaptability
• Ability to learn new techniques and perform multiple tasks while keeping accurate records

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products
• Run instrumentation independently including chromatographic systems
• Prepare samples for analysis and run instrumentation with minimum supervision
• Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis
• Execute method transfer protocols
• Document work for GMP compliance
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment
