Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Biochemistry Method Development Associate Scientist to perform comprehensive analytical testing on APIs and finished products. The role involves running chromatographic and wet-chemistry analyses, method development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support drug development projects.

The candidate will document GMP-compliant results, validate new processes, and train junior staff while staying current with regulatory guidelines in pharmaceutical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products
• Run instrumentation independently including HPLC, UV/Vis, IC, IR, ICP, AA, DSC, dissolution
• Prepare samples for analysis and perform instrument work with minimal supervision
• Set up and validate new analytical processes used by the department
• Document work for GMP compliance
• Develop and optimize analytical methods for quantification of compounds and impurities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support drug development projects
• Troubleshoot analytical issues in method development and validation
• Assist in training junior scientists on analytical techniques
• Stay current with scientific literature and regulatory guidelines
