Axtria, Inc. seeks a Forward Deployment Engineer to integrate production AI directly into pharma client environments, leading end-to-end design, build, and deployment. This role demands deep technical depth, pharma domain knowledge, and strong consulting maturity to operate independently in client settings.

You will lead engineering teams, own technical work streams, and translate complex architectures into business value while delivering on production-grade AI systems in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering/data/AI experience in pharma or life sciences.
• Pharma domain experience is mandatory across commercial or clinical areas.
• Production AI engineering with real production deployments, not PoCs.
• Strong foundations in Python, SQL, cloud infra, data pipelines, and API design.
• Experience on at least one pharma AI platform (Databricks or Snowflake or AWS Bedrock or Claude/Anthropic).
• Ability to operate in direct client-facing roles at senior stakeholder level.
• Experience in sprint-based, high-velocity delivery cycles.

Responsabilités

• Embed within pharma client organizations and own end-to-end design, build, and deployment of production AI.
• Lead technical workstreams and manage teams of engineers under your ownership.
• Maintain direct client relationships, scope problems, present trade-offs, and translate technical outcomes to business terms.
• Architect multi-agent AI systems, integrate tool chains, and ensure production-grade observability and governance.
• Translate pharma problems into AI architectures and validate outputs against business norms.
• Contribute to Axtria's library of deployment patterns and accelerators; mentor junior FDEs.
