Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to practice patient-centered care within our community pharmacy. You will provide friendly, accurate service, dispense medications, and support clinical initiatives while maintaining confidentiality and a professional environment.

The role requires strong customer service, math accuracy, and teamwork to ensure optimal patient outcomes and smooth daily operations in our Lexington, KY location.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Retail/Community pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve prescribed medications from inventory.
• Input patient and prescription data into the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and process insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork for dispensing prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock medications and maintain display areas.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
• Communicate effectively and support change.
• Keep the pharmacy clean and professional in appearance.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
