Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a full-time package handler in the United States. No experience is required, though six months in a package handling or similar role is preferred. You will sort packages, follow safety instructions, and use equipment like hand-held scanners, dock carts, chutes, and unloading devices.

Pay is $22.50 per hour. Regular full-time and part-time employees may enroll in medical, dental, and vision coverage after initial period, with tuition reimbursement.

• Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.
• Ability to discern numbers and information in order to sort packages correctly.
• Ability to use basic tools and equipment such as skate wheel rollers, dock carts, hand-held scanners, chutes and unloading devices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

• No experience required; six (6) months of experience as a package handler or switching/CDL operator experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) file.
• Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.
• Ability to discern numbers and information in order to sort packages correctly.
• Ability to use basic tools and equipment such as skate wheel rollers, dock carts, hand-held scanners, chutes and unloading devices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

Minimum Education

None required.

Job Conditions

• May work in hot and cold temperatures.
• May work in an environment with fumes.
• May work in an area with loud noise.

Pay & Benefits

Pay: $22.50/hour

Full Time: Twi‑Mid sorts.

Regular full & part-time employees (who complete 91 days of employment and work a minimum average of 17 hours per week) are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage, tuition reimbursement. Full/part-time employees who are age 21 are eligible for 401(k) after one month of employment.
