Job summary

The Nature Conservancy seeks a Portfolio Associate to support the Global Project Finance for Permanence (PFP) team. You will coordinate portfolio planning, governance, reporting, systems, communications, and resourcing, serving as a liaison across country and regional teams and external partners.

You will help ensure portfolio priorities and strategic objectives are connected across teams, with a focus on coordination, information flow, and aligned execution within the Protect BU.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Policy, Resource Management, or a related field and 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate portfolio planning and governance, including stage gates, agendas, and briefing materials.
• Produce dashboards, updates, analyses, and reports for leadership, donors, boards and partners.
• Support portfolio communications and maintain visibility into project status and timelines.
• Assist in maintenance and improvement of portfolio management systems and data practices.
• Facilitate alignment across PFP teams, regional programs and partners to ensure transparency and effective execution.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
