Job summary

You Thrive Florida is seeking a PFCE Coordinator to lead family engagement and community partnerships across multiple Early Learning Programs. The role requires managing PFCE implementation, data-informed decision making, and cross‑team collaboration to strengthen family well‑being and school readiness.

The position will coordinate with ERSEA leadership, Family Advocates, and site staff, with duties spanning Hernando and Volusia counties and frequent travel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in human services, social work, or related field preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Within 90 days of employment, complete DCF Child Care training courses listed in S.402.305(2)(d).
• Within eighteen months, complete Head Start/Early Head Start required certification hours.
• ERSEA certification within 1 year of hire date and maintained annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the PFCE Framework, aligned with Head Start standards.
• Design, implement, and monitor PFCE strategies to promote family well‑being and leadership.
• Analyze engagement data and program reports to drive improvement.
• Lead and facilitate the PFCE Committee and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Oversee and ensure compliance of Parent Committees and Policy Council processes, including elections and leadership development.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of Policy Council members and parent leaders.
• Partner with Family Advocates to design trainings, activities, and leadership opportunities.
• Develop strategies to engage fathers and male figures with events and initiatives.
• Build partnerships with community organizations to expand resources for families.
• Represent the organization at events and outreach activities across service areas.
• Lead outreach to promote enrollment and accessibility for families.
• Maintain systems to track family engagement activities in ChildPlus.
• Develop and manage communications to increase PFCE engagement via social media.
• Provide training and TA on PFCE, ERSEA, and best practices.
• Ensure communications are culturally and linguistically responsive.
• Advocate for families to access community resources for stability and learning.
• Maintain confidentiality of all family and program information.
