Job summary
Nwestco LLC is seeking a Petroleum Construction Technician/UST Installer to join our field team. You'll install, upgrade, and remove petroleum fueling systems at commercial sites across the Northwest and Rocky Mountain region.
Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of petroleum construction and UST experience, with OSHA awareness, ability to travel regionally, and the drive for steady year-round work. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of petroleum construction/UST installation experience.
- Experience operating excavation equipment safely.
- Reading blueprints, site plans, and construction specifications.
- Strong OSHA safety knowledge and job site procedures.
- Willingness to travel regionally as project needs require.
Responsibilities
- Installing and removing underground storage tanks (USTs).
- Operating excavators, backhoes, skid steers and other equipment.
- Installing underground piping, sumps, spill containment and monitoring systems.
- Assisting with tank and fuel line testing.
- Reading blueprints and site plans.
- Completing daily reports and compliance paperwork.
- Following OSHA, EPA, and state environmental regulations.
- Maintaining a safe, organized, and professional job site.
