Job summary
Nwestco, LLC in the Northwest region is seeking Petroleum Construction Technicians/UST Installers to join a team delivering quality, reliability, and innovation on year-round projects.
The role involves installing and removing underground storage tanks, operating construction equipment, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety with OSHA/EPA guidelines. Travel regionally is required; relocation assistance may be offered.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in petroleum construction or UST installation/removal
- Experience operating excavation equipment safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of underground fuel systems, piping and containment
- Ability to read blueprints, site plans and construction specs
- Strong OSHA safety practices and job site procedures
- Willingness to travel regionally as project needs require
Responsibilities
- Installing and removing underground storage tanks
- Operating excavators, backhoes, skid steers and other equipment
- Installing underground piping, sumps and containment systems
- Assisting with tank and fuel line testing
- Reading blueprints and site plans
- Completing daily reports and compliance paperwork
- Following OSHA, EPA and state environmental and safety regulations
- Maintaining a safe, organized job site
