Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum Co. is seeking a professional CDL driver responsible for delivering petroleum products to company sites and customers. You will load/unload, perform safety inspections, and maintain paperwork and communication with dispatchers daily.

Requirements include a valid CDL with clean MVR, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, TWIC card, and passing DOT drug screening and medicals. Overtime and bonuses apply, with home daily during routes.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A or Class B CDL with clean MVR.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements REQUIRED.
• TWIC card REQUIRED.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Must meet DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
• Subject to quarterly random drug screens per FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Must be available to work weekends, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks with petroleum products adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy.
• Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items on a daily basis.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers on a daily basis.
