Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum Co. is seeking a professional truck driver to deliver petroleum products to company sites and customers. You will load, unload, and operate company vehicles safely while ensuring accurate paperwork and daily coordination with dispatchers.

This role offers home daily routes and requires Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, plus a valid CDL. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, life insurance, disability coverage, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with a good DOT/FMCSA driving record.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are REQUIRED.
• TWIC card required or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Prior fuel, petroleum or hazardous material transport experience preferred.
• Able to complete DOT pre-employment drug testing and comply with random testing.
• Meet DOT/FMCSA qualification standards including a valid Medical Exam Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks with petroleum products following company and government rules.
• Safely operates trucks according to company policies and laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections as required.
• Monitors oil, water, fuel, tires and related items daily.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork per company procedures.
• Communicates and coordinates with dispatchers daily.
