TTI Environmental, Inc. in Maryland is seeking a Petroleum Technician to support the Construction and Contracting Division.

This field-based role requires knowledge of underground and aboveground petroleum equipment installations, upgrades, and environmental construction, with travel across Maryland and nearby regions. You will prepare sites, perform tasks safely, and assist foremen while complying with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of relevant field construction or mechanical installation experience.
• Experience with piping systems, spill, overfill and secondary containment systems.
• Local and extended travel is required.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction sites each day by preparing materials, tools, and equipment.
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Assist foreman, supervisors, crew workers as needed.
• Ensure construction equipment and tools are maintained and stored properly.

Petroleum Technician – Construction and Contracting Division

TTI Environmental, Inc. is an integrated environmental services contractor and consulting firm serving government, industrial, commercial, academic, financial, and private clients nationwide. Headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey, TTI provides turnkey environmental construction, mechanical installation, remediation, and compliance solutions.

TTI is seeking a qualified Petroleum Technician to support our Construction and Contracting Division. Knowledge of underground and aboveground petroleum equipment installations, upgrades, repairs, closures and general environmental construction, concrete, excavation, etc. is required. This position is field-based and requires travel to project sites throughout Maryland and surrounding regions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction sites each day by preparing materials, tools, and equipment
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
• Follow all health and safety regulations and PPE requirements
• Assist foreman, supervisors, crew workers as needed
• Ensure construction equipment and tools are maintained and stored properly

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant field construction or mechanical installation experience is required
• Experience in construction sites and ability to follow and demonstrate basic safety principles
• Experience with piping systems, spill, overfill and secondary containment systems
• Knowledge of monitoring systems, and fuel management systems
• Local and extended travel is required
• The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed
• At least 18 years old
• Construction OSHA 10 or OSHA HAZWOPER Certification is preferred
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a pre-employment screen and physical
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Compensation: $27.00-$37.00 hourly, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
