Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Petroleum Supply Specialist to ensure proper handling, storage, and shipment of petroleum-based products to support Soldiers and units. You will supervise reception, storage, and shipping of bulk or packaged fuels, and operate pumping equipment for loading transport and testing fuels.

During training, you will complete 10 weeks of Basic Training followed by 11 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT).

Qualifications

• Requires military enlistment.
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ages 17–35.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock bulk and package products.
• Issue and dispense bulk fuels and water from storage and distribution facilities to using units.
