Job summary

United Uptime Services is seeking Petroleum Service Technicians to support Midland/Odessa, TX and surrounding areas. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on fueling systems in retail locations, while following safety and customer guidelines.

On-call rotation and certification requirements apply. Ideal candidates have Gilbarco certification, POS system experience, and a solid background in servicing petroleum equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• gilbarco certification is required.
• Experience with petroleum equipment service and maintenance preferred.
• Able to pass drug test, background and DMV check.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on UST/AST systems and components at retail and commercial fueling centers.
• Troubleshoot and repair dispensers, pumps, controllers, POS consoles, and related equipment.
• Take daily directions from Service Manager or Service Dispatcher.
• Respond to after-hours on-call service requests in rotation.
• Follow customer protocols and safety guidelines.

We're experiencing significant growth and seeking skilled Petroleum Service Technicians to join our team in the Midland/Odessa, TX and surrounding areas.

It is an authorized distributor and service provider for Gilbarco Veeder-Root as well as other major equipment brands. What You’ll Do:

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on UST/AST systems and components at retail/commercial fueling centers including dispensers, pumps, controllers, POS consoles, printers, fuel management systems, leak detection equipment, lighting and electrical systems, valves, piping and more!
• Take daily directions from the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher
• Respond to after-hours emergency service requests for "site down" or other priority situations in an on-call rotation
• Perform required prerequisite work necessary to obtain and maintain certification from original equipment manufacturers
• Follow all customer protocols and procedures including customers safety and housekeeping guidelines

What We're Looking For:

• Industry Experience: Experience with petroleum equipment service and maintenance, along with certifications in the following areas, is highly preferred.
• Gilbarco Certification (REQUIRED)
• Verifone, Passport, Ruby point-of-sale systems
• Veeder Root, Franklin Evos tank monitoring systems
• Red Jacket, Franklin motors and controllers
• Customer Service Driven: Available to be on call and capable of completing all work efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships
• A Strong Educational Foundation: High school diploma or GED required
• Pre-Employment Testing: Must pass drug test, background and DMVR check.
