Job description

Responsible for petroleum supply analytics throughout the enterprise. Accountable for accurate reporting of petroleum contracts, contract bids, and other reports associated with petroleum supply. Identify and execute tactical purchases, including low rack purchases, day deals, and arbitrage opportunities. Provide leadership in identifying market trends affecting contract pricing. Communicate and report performance results to division and department procurement teams. This position is a remote opportunity, with travel required for training, meetings, and industry functions. Minimum Qualifications

1. 2+ years of experience in data analytics and ensuring data integrity

5. Knowledge of formula-based pricing models, including Oil Price Information Service, Platts, and NY Mercantile Exchange
6. Experience analyzing supply bids during RFP processes and producing comparative Excel spreadsheets over a three-year period for specific terminal cities
7. Monitoring contracted volume requirements and obligations
8. Identifying and communicating gaps between sales and contract volume requirements
9. Documenting fuel supplier contract terms, addendums, and cancellations monthly
10. Managing contract files to ensure compliance (signed, filed, etc.)
11. Gathering and presenting fuel pricing data for contract negotiations
12. Facilitating new store setups and contract assignments
13. Supporting forecasting processes for the Petroleum Procurement team
14. Analyzing and executing cost savings opportunities via Day Deals, Arbitrage, and rack purchases
15. Providing updates on fuel spot market prices and significant news items to the fuel team
16. Overseeing internal audit and inventory controls to ensure proper procedures
17. Maintaining expense control, accurate disbursements, and precise information
18. Developing retail division reports on pricing, monitoring sales, and compiling market surveys
