Job summary

United States Army Reserve seeks enlisted Soldiers to serve as Petroleum Laboratory Specialists. You will supervise and conduct tests on petroleum, oil, and lubricant products to ensure fire prevention and safety standards for our troops, meeting Army requirements for reliability and safety.

You will train to perform physical and chemical tests on turbine aviation fuels, diesels, motor gasolines, and kerosene-based fuels in the field, with safety and quality as daily priorities in this role.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card.
• Age: 17 to 34 years old.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Tattoo guidelines must be met.
• No major law violations.
• No medical concerns.

Enlist as a Soldier into the United States Army and As a Petroleum Laboratory Specialist, you’ll supervise and conduct laboratory tests on petroleum, oil, and lubricant products to ensure fire prevention and safety control for our troops, to ensure they meet the Army’s requirements, and our Soldiers can depend on them. You’ll train to perform physical and chemical tests on turbine aviation fuels, diesels and motor gasolines, and kerosene-based and diesel fuels in the field. Additionally, safety and fire prevention will be a daily form of life while working this job. This is not a civilian contractor position.

No experience necessary. Position is entry level.
