Qualifications

• Must have basic grasp of mathematics and work in an automated environment.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Cannot have a fear of heights.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs for shore tanks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record (required).
• Must have or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Ability to travel as business needs dictate – up to 75% of the time.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload with efficient time management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to Caleb Brett safety procedures.
• Perform volume measurements, temperature measurements, sampling and associated reporting.
• Conduct visual inspections on lines, tanks, rail cars, ships and related equipment.
• Complete custody transfer surveys for commodities transferred between modes and storage.
• Carry out routine equipment calibrations, verification and function checks.
• Communicate results and enter data into appropriate media, print or electronic.
• Coordinate with terminal, transport and company personnel for efficient workflow.
• Organize jobs to ensure timely submission of reports and samples.
• Maintain clean and functional work areas and equipment.
