Job summary

The Colonial Group is seeking a Distribution Driver to safely transport fuel and lubricant products to designated locations in compliance with DOT and PHMSA regulations. This role focuses on accurate delivery records, vehicle inspections, and professional customer service.

You'll operate Class A tank vehicles with hazmat endorsements, maintain logs, and work to ensure product integrity across multiple stops while adhering to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class A CDL with tank vehicle and hazmat endorsements (X endorsement typical).
• Minimum two years verifiable professional commercial-driving experience.
• Current DOT medical qualification and ability to meet FMCSA requirements.
• Must read/speak English sufficiently for reports and customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the truck and distribution trailer to deliver fuel and lubricant products to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and report any defects or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment in clean, organized, and serviceable condition.
• Keep accurate driver logs and comply with hours-of-service and DOT requirements.
• Maintain inventory balance and ensure product integrity across deliveries.
• Communicate with dispatch about pickups, deliveries, and schedule changes.
