Job summary

Nwestco LLC is seeking an experienced Petroleum Equipment / Fuel Systems Technician to perform field service in Seattle, WA. You’ll work on fuel pumps, dispensers, tanks, and monitor systems, ensuring reliable operation at commercial sites.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Gilbarco/ Wayne equipment, Veeder-Root monitors, and strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel may be required for some assignments.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing fueling systems and petroleum equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with tank monitors such as Veeder-Root.
• Familiarity with dispensers (Gilbarco, Wayne), STPs, and POS systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install and service fuel dispensers (Gilbarco, Wayne).
• Service fuel pumps & STPs and diagnose faults.
• Inspect underground and aboveground tanks (UST/AST).
• Monitor Veeder-Root tank monitors and leak-detection systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Respond to service calls at commercial fueling sites.
• Read wiring diagrams and technical manuals to troubleshoot.

Nwestco is hiring an experienced Petroleum Equipment / Fuel Systems Technician in Seattle, WA to work on fuel pumps, dispensers, tanks, and tank monitors.

If you’ve worked on Gilbarco, Wayne, Veeder-Root, STPs, UST systems, or gas station equipment, this is steady, year-round work with a solid company that keeps you busy.

Pay range is $25/hr-$30/hr+ depending on experience and certifications. Includes full benefits, PTO, 401(k) with match, plus a company truck, gas card, cell phone, and laptop.

Your Mission

You’ll be out in the field working on:

• Fuel dispensers (Gilbarco & Wayne)
• Fuel pumps & STPs
• Underground & aboveground tanks (UST / AST)
• Veeder-Root tank monitors
• Leak detection systems
• Electrical & mechanical troubleshooting
• Preventative maintenance & repairs
• Responding to service calls at commercial fueling sites

What You Bring To The Table

• Experience servicing fueling systems and petroleum equipment
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with tank monitors such as Veeder-Root
• Familiarity with dispensers (Gilbarco, Wayne), STPs, and POS systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals

• Ability to work independently and provide strong customer service

Certifications such as Gilbarco, Wayne, Verifone, ICC, UST/AST Operator, or HAZWOPER are a plus — but we’re willing to support continued training for the right candidate.

Before You Leap

Some positions require travel and overnight stays. Travel expenses will be covered by Nwestco, LLC

All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of the following:

• Ability to pass pre-employment physical with extensive lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screening and background check. This position is classified as safety-sensitive, it requires the applicant to pass a comprehensive drug test, including screening for marijuana, as a condition of employment.
• Driving Requirement: This position requires regular operation of a Company vehicle. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, possess a current, valid and unrestricted driver’s license, and have no DUI convictions or driver’s license suspensions or revocations within the past five (5) years. Employment is contingent upon verification of an acceptable motor vehicle record and meeting the Company’s automobile insurance eligibility requirements.
