Job summary

Dead River Company in Concord, NH is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely deliver petroleum products to residential and commercial customers. You will load, inspect the vehicle, and ensure accurate deliveries while upholding customer service standards.

The role requires a Class B CDL with HazMat, willingness to work nights/weekends, and adherence to safety policies. Competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement.
• CETP training and certification required to deliver propane.
• Apprentice oil burner license required for oil delivery drivers who prime furnaces.

Responsibilities

• Performs a safety check of the delivery vehicle daily.
• Reviews daily manifest, loads truck, and delivers according to regulations.
• Follows delivery standards with emphasis on customer service, efficiency.
• Attends driver meetings (huddles).
• Communicates with dispatchers and reports customer concerns promptly.
• Maintains neat appearance and clean uniform.
• Promotes good customer relations and respects customer property.
• Keeps truck stocked with tools and safety equipment; adheres to safety standards.
• Participates in night and weekend on-call schedule.
• Primes furnaces or performs leak tests for propane; supports other departments as needed.

Education
