Job summary

Dead River Company is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely deliver petroleum products to residential and commercial customers. You will load, transport, and deliver according to schedules while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, clear communication with dispatch, and maintaining a well-kept truck and uniform. Night/weekend on-call may be required, with competitive weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• One year of delivery driving experience preferred.
• Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement required.
• CETP training and certification required to deliver propane.
• Apprentice oil burner license required for oil delivery.
• All drivers must pass a DOT physical.
• Pre-employment and random drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver petroleum products to residential and commercial customers safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily safety checks on the delivery vehicle.
• Load truck based on manifest and deliver per regulations and policy.
• Follow delivery standards prioritizing customer service and productivity.
• Attend driver meetings and communicate with dispatch and routing staff.
• Maintain neat appearance and clean uniform.
• Operate Raven handheld device proficiently.
• Foster positive customer relations and protect customer property.
• Keep truck stocked with tools and safety equipment and comply with safety standards.
• Participate in night and weekend on-call schedules.
