Petro-Com Corporation is seeking a Construction Technician to join our field team in the Toledo, Bowling Green, Findlay and Northwest Ohio area. The role covers installation, service, repair and maintenance of petroleum equipment with long-term growth opportunities.

Starting wage depends on petroleum experience, certifications and accreditations. The position offers a day shift, overtime and a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, 401(k) and vacation time.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined with willingness to learn construction techniques.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to pass DOT physical.
• Ability to work overtime when necessary.
• BUSTR certified a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction tasks and projects including fuel equipment removal/installation, repairs and installation of concrete work.
• Operate machinery and vehicles (trucks, lift trucks, backhoes, etc.) and maintain equipment.
• Work with a team to complete maintenance and repair tasks at petroleum project sites.
• Assist in maintaining petroleum equipment including dispensers and fuel management systems.
• Install electronic and mechanical equipment for service stations and fueling facilities.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pushing heavy objects.
• Complete paperwork; time sheets and equipment inspections; report time and parts used.

Petro-Com Corporation is looking for a Construction Technicians to provide excellent customer service in the installation, service, repair, and maintenance of all petroleum equipment. Our ideal candidate will be someone looking for a long-term opportunity, and the chance to grow within the organization. Starting wage for candidates with petroleum construction experience will be based on experience, certifications, and/or accreditations.

Schedule:

• Responsible for construction tasks and projects including fuel equipment removal/installation, spill buckets, sump repairs, fuel motor removal/installation, concrete work/installation, excavation, canopy, lighting, etc.
• Operate machinery and vehicles including trucks, trailers, lift trucks, bob cats, skid steers, backhoes, light and heavy equipment such as: hand tools, hand power tools, pumps, vacuums, and generators etc.; provide maintenance as required for equipment
• Work alongside a team to complete general maintenance and repair support tasks for all petroleum project sites
• Assist to maintain and repair various types of petroleum equipment including dispensers, tank monitors, fuel management systems, etc.
• Install electronic and mechanical equipment for service stations, commercial fueling facilities and related work
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects
• Completion of work-related paperwork; time sheets, daily sheets, vehicle inspection, equipment inspections; Promptly report time, travel, and parts used to the office for billing purposes
• Comply with OSHA safety standards and perform tasks safety, OSHA or Hazwoper certified a plus
• Remain actively engaged in supporting the Service Team during gaps in specific construction
