Job summary

United Petroleum Equipment is seeking an experienced Petroleum Construction Installer / Lead to support fuel system construction and installation projects across Michigan and surrounding states.

This hands-on field leadership role requires strong background in construction, excavation, mechanical systems, or petroleum site work. You will install tanks, dispensers, product lines, coordinate with electricians, and uphold safety standards while traveling regionally.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, setting grades and using a transit level.
• Strong field math and ability to master TOPCON RL-H4C laser system.
• Valid driver's license with willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Install underground and above-ground fuel tank systems and dispensers.
• Set grades, read blueprints and operate laser/level tools precisely.
• Support site work including concrete island and flatwork.
• Operate or work with mini-excavators, skid steers, and Bobcats.
• Coordinate with site electricians and other trades to meet milestones.
• Maintain safety and comply with hazardous material and utilities protocols.
• Travel regionally across Michigan and nearby states with occasional overnights.
