Job summary

Albemarle in Pasadena, Texas is hiring an Industrial Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems supporting petrochemical operations onsite.

This role requires a HS diploma or GED, an Electrical State License, and at least 5 years of industrial experience; AS degree is a plus. You will read schematics, work with test equipment, and support plant uptime with safe, compliant practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Electrical state license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical experience in petrochemical/related environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical controls, motors, and distribution systems.
• Strong reading of schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
• Commitment to safety and compliance in hazardous environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical equipment across the facility.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, switchgear, transformers, and distribution systems.
• Read electrical drawings and diagrams; use diagnostic tools to test equipment.
• Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to prioritize work and ensure uptime.
• Support hazardous waste management in line with procedures.
