The role may operate in the Geismar repair facility or at customer sites within about 100 miles, with emphasis on meeting customer goals and delivering quality service. Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school in craft preferred.
• Minimum 10 years hands-on experience with petrochemical rotating equipment.
• Experience in maintenance, repair, and/or assembly of pumps, blowers, agitators, compressors.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, diagnose and repair petrochemical rotating equipment in shop or at client sites.
• Assemble new rotating equipment, align motors, install guards to client specs.
• Field service including baseplate removal/replacement and packing/seal work.
• Document work scopes with critical dimensions on as-found/as-left forms.
• Manage multiple projects with minimal supervision; work overtime and weekends as needed.
