Job summary

Stronghold Companies is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely operate a range of power construction equipment on our projects. You will work to meet safety, quality, productivity, and service goals while maintaining client expectations and professional conduct.

Responsibilities include operating heavy machinery, coordinating with crew signals, performing pre-run inspections, and completing job tickets. Travel across the United States is anticipated for project deployment and site support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of construction equipment operation.
• Class A driver's license with clean MVR.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and tools in industrial/construction.
• Preferred: NCCER/NCCCO certification; First Aid/CPR training; 5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate power construction equipment (graders, bulldozers, scrapers, compressors, pumps, derricks, shovels, tractors or loaders) to excavate, move earth and pour concrete.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and load movements.
• Inspect, maintain and fuel equipment; report defects to supervision; complete job tickets and paperwork.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines; ensure safe working environment at client sites.
• Maintain communication with supervisor and complete trainings as required.
