Job summary

Alphia seeks a dedicated Petfood Delivery Driver to coordinate and perform on-time ship orders, ensuring quality products reach customers while complying with GMP, HACCP and SQF guidelines. Under the Logistics Manager, you will prepare paperwork, logs, and ensure safe transport of ingredients and flour nationwide.

You will train new drivers, communicate with mill staff, and maintain accurate logs and equipment records, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience with tractor/trailer preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL and medical card required; DOT regulations adherence.
• Clean driving record and ability to comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Team oriented and willing to support multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with vendors or customers to ensure timely delivery.
• Deliver or pick up products according to production schedule.
• Maintain truck logs daily and oversee equipment records.
• Operate truck and forklift as needed; load/unload cargo.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF procedures and safety rules.
• Report hazards, needed repairs, and participate in training new drivers.
