Join us as a PETCT Technologist at Akumin

We are looking for a skilled PET/CT Technologist to provide exceptional imaging services. The role involves connecting with patients, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort and safety. You will interpret physician instructions and produce high-quality images to assist in accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring patient safety through pre-screening and proper handling of radioactive materials.
• Producing diagnostic-quality images.
• Communicating effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Training new staff and troubleshooting equipment.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT N).
• State license and CPR certification.
• 1-2 years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations and travel locally.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.

Physical and Other Requirements:

• Exposure to radiation, blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements.
