Job summary

VIP Petcare in Boise is seeking a Veterinary Clinic Assistant to support routine medical services and customer interactions across mobile and clinic locations. You will help families select appropriate services and products while ensuring safety and cleanliness in the workspace.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. You will work as part of a team with rotating shifts, weekends, and occasional overnights may

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license and VIP Petcare MVR Check.

Responsibilities

• Collect payment, dispense and label medication and review discharge paperwork for pet parents.
• Safely restrain pets for wellness procedures including vaccines, nail trims and microchips.
• Collect and prepare blood and fecal samples for laboratory testing.
• Drive company vans to and from clinics during Community Clinics sessions.
