Job summary

University Radiology has an exceptional Per Diem PET/NUC Med Technologist opportunity at our Lyndhurst, NJ Imaging Office. You will perform diagnostic imaging using radiopharmaceuticals and PET scanners, with E/O Saturday & PTO coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• NJDEP State License required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Minimum of two years experience.
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB(N) Certification required.
• ARRT(CT) or NMTCB/CT Fusion modality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures使用 radiopharmaceuticals and PET scanners to create images of body functions and structures.
• Prepare and administer radioactive drugs to patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain equipment and radiation safety protocols.

$80/hr - Per Diem Rate

University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

University Radiology has an incredible opportunity for a Per Diem PET/NUC Med Technologist forour NEW Lyndhurst, NJ Imaging Office.

Schedule

E/O Saturday & PTO coverage as needed

Our PET/NUC Med Technologists perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment, such as PET scanners, to create images of the body's internal functions and structures. Key responsibilities include preparing and administering radioactive drugs to patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining equipment and radiation safety protocols.

*May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

Qualifications

• NJDEP State License and CPR Certification
• A minimum of two years experience
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB(N) Certification
• ARRT(CT) or NMTCB/CT for Fusion Modality PREFERRED
