Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using sophisticated radiation‑detecting instrumentation. Prepares and administers radioactive chemical compounds known as radiopharmaceuticals. Is knowledgeable in IV placement to avoid extravasation of radiopharmaceuticals. Performs computer processing and image enhancement, and provides images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation. Provides excellent patient care and demonstrates excellent customer service.
